You’ve created a video we will cherish forever and we will always recommend you. We are so grateful you were available for our day. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you so so much again.
From the moment I read their first message, I knew Mikhaela and Katlyn’s day would be something special. Their connection was effortless, their story real, and their venue—St Bernard’s Hotel in Mount Tamborine—set the perfect backdrop for a celebration full of heart, humour, and unforgettable moments.
Mikhaela and Katlyn met back in 2017, and it didn’t take long before they became inseparable. Adventurous souls at heart, they built their relationship on shared laughs, road trips, and a deep love of the outdoors. When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted something intimate and meaningful, surrounded by just their closest family and friends.
Their ceremony took place in the lush gardens of St Bernard’s, overlooking the Gold Coast hinterland—honestly, it looked like a scene from a fairytale. There was no fluff or fuss, just raw emotion, heartfelt vows, and two beautiful brides walking down the aisle to a soundtrack that meant something to them. “Work Song” by Hozier set the tone, with “Unconditional (Acoustic)” by Sinead Harnett following, and by the time “Me & You” by Tems played, I’m not sure there was a dry eye around.
Their celebrant, Kasey McBeth from With Love Celebracy, brought so much warmth and calm to the day. She also stepped in as the MC for the evening, guiding the flow of the reception with ease and keeping everything feeling relaxed and personal. The day ran like clockwork thanks to the incredible venue coordinator, Liz from St Bernard’s, whose attention to detail made everything feel seamless and stress-free.
Post-ceremony, the joy rolled into cocktail hour with bubbles and rose petals, while the two of them made time for location photos that captured their connection effortlessly. The reception kicked off with style, and I loved how they embraced their personalities in the music—“Electric” by Khalid & Alina Baraz, followed by “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé & Jay Z for their grand entrance to the dance floor.
Their film came together just like their day—elegant, authentic, and full of soul.
Mikhaela and Katlyn, thank you for trusting me with your day. It was an absolute honour to be part of it.
