Our original Wedding videographer cancelled on us only six weeks out from our wedding so we were incredibly stressed and anxious. Thankfully, Joel contacted us and we were able to lock him in and all I can say is it was meant to be! Joel was incredible from the beginning, scheduling and planning the day, his transparency and communication was great and he worked so well with our photographer on the day. When our video arrived we were both in tears with how well he was able to capture the most important day of our lives in just 4 minutes. We are so incredibly thankful we had Joel as our videographer and will be recommending him to all of our friends! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Marisa and Jack’s wedding story wasn’t just romantic — it was proof that sometimes, things fall into place exactly as they’re meant to.
Only six weeks out from their big day, their original videographer cancelled, leaving them stressed and scrambling. That’s when they reached out, and we made it work. And honestly? I’m so glad we did. Their day was elegant, emotional, and full of the kind of moments that are a dream to film.
They chose Maleny Manor for both their ceremony and reception — a venue that’s as timeless as it is beautiful, perched in the hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The style was soft and refined: lilac and white tones, grey suits, and florals by @mondofloraldesigns that brought everything together with understated elegance.
The day started with calm prep in the on-site suites — Marisa in the loft and Jack in the groom’s room. From the beginning, the vibe was relaxed but meaningful. One of the most memorable details? Their dogs were their ring bearers, stealing the show (and a few hearts) during the ceremony. A traditional tea ceremony followed, paying tribute to Jack’s heritage and creating such a beautiful balance of culture and celebration.
Their ceremony, led by the lovely @wed_by_bel, was heartfelt and genuine. The light was perfect, the emotions ran high, and from that point on, everything just flowed.
With @foreverandalwaysweddingco handling the coordination and MC duties, the reception ran like a dream. After a sweet cake cutting by @bubblesbakescakes and a beautiful first dance, the evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches and happy tears — exactly what you’d want from a celebration this full of love.
